Privacy

We collect
almost nothing.

WidgetClock is a clock. It has no account system, no social features and no reason to know who you are.

What stays on your device

Your chosen designs, cities, formats and any photos you use as widget backgrounds are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your own private iCloud container. We cannot read either one.

What we receive

Anonymous, aggregated crash and performance reports from Apple, and App Store sales and download statistics that Apple provides in aggregate. Neither identifies you.

Location

Location access is optional and used only to place the sunrise/sunset arc and to offer your local zone. If you decline it, you can pick a city manually and everything else works identically. Coordinates are never transmitted off the device.

Photos

If you set a photo as a widget background, the app reads that single image with your permission and stores a copy in its own container. Nothing is uploaded.

Calendar

The calendar widgets display dates, not events, and therefore never request calendar access.

Advertising and tracking

There is none. No third-party ad SDKs, no analytics SDKs that build a profile, no identifier for advertisers, no cross-app tracking.

Purchases

Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card, address or Apple Account details — only whether an entitlement is active.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
